For example, my favorite cartoon would have to be Monsters, Inc. I love the idea that Sulley is just "doing his job" when he scares kids and harvests their screams. The way that Boo says the name "Mike Wazowski" never fails to crack me up, and I love the theme at the end, the idea that people and corporations can change for the better. Pixar animation amazes me. Boo is adorable, and the way that Sulley shifts from like-able guy to ferocious creature shows the richness of the animation. Of course, having John Goodman and Billy Crystal as voices adds a layer of humor to the movie. Overall, it's a triumph of storytelling and animation, and a heck of a good film!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite cartoon is mad. I like it because its so dumb and the people who make it are probably mad them selves.They never fail to have me asphyxiating from laughter sooner or later. My favorite part is spy v.s spy.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite animation is Japanese called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It is both a comic and a cartoon. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is about a high-school boy nicknamed Kyon at Kouyouen Academy where there is a strange girl named Haruhi because she believes in mythical creatures. The animation is told from Kyon's point of view. But it is Haruhi who makes a club called the SoS Brigade. The people whom she chooses to be in the club are an esper (basically a wizard), a time traveler, an alien cyborg that looks human, Kyon, and herself. Haruhi has god-like powers that can change reality but the others don't want her to know that. She makes up the creatures in her reality. Everyone thinks Haruhi is crazy for believing in magical things. Nagato, the alien, and can alter history, but she doesn't do it that much. I like "Haruhi Suzumiya" because the animation is funny but other times serious, and lots of weird things happen like going into other universes, lasers shooting out of the time traveler's eye, Nagato turning evil, and their fighting a giant cricket. The animation is very unpredictable, which is another reason I like it. It covers a lot of genres: school life, supernatural, comedy, and action -- and that is why it's my favorite. I also like the school settings because it is about people's everyday lives, which interests me. Supernatural subjects also really interest me, and this animation has a lot of it.
My favorite carton is Wallace and Gromit. Wallace and Gromit is my favorite cartoon because it is in my opinion the funniest cartoon out there. My favorite episode is the one when Wallace and Gromit get a tone of crackers and take a space ship up to the moon. Then they find out that the moon isn't made out of cheese. That is my favorite cartoon and why it's my favorite cartoon.

ReplyDeleteTintin is my favorite comic. There are many different stories and they are funny and good and there are many different stories. Tintin is always trying to do something good. Tintin in America is about Chicago in 1931 when it was ruled by gangsters. Tintin captured the gangsters and turned them over to the cops. Herge, the author, is a very good author and very talented.
One of my favorite comics is The Far Side by Garry Larson. What I like about it is that they are usually only one or two panels so it has to have a short, snappy, funny punchline. For example in one of the comics there is a picture of two buffaloes hanging out by a water cooler and the caption is “Water Buffaloes.” Another thing I like about is that he always uses cowboys, animals, aliens, primitive people and sometimes sports and other things in his cartoons. His comics range in such a wide variety and each one has a snappy remark or a funny picture in it. The Far Side is definitely one of my favorite comics or cartoons. - Sebastian
ReplyDeleteMy favorite comic is Tintin. Tintin is a great comic series that was originally published in French. The series is about a young man, Tintin, and his faithful dog, Snowy. The man is a reporter who helps solve crimes. I would recommend Tintin because the plots are very interesting, the characters are all funny, and the drawings are great.

My favorite cartoon is star wars the clone wars. It has good graphics and it has great background sounds. There are many different designs of ships and shuttles. They carry different things like weapons, food, men, aliens, robots, and smaller ships. I love the background sounds the different ships make when fighting against each other. I like the many different characters like the Jedi, the dark side, and the robots. My favorite characters are Savage, Kit fisto, Anakin Skywalker, and Rex and Cody the clones. I like them because of the way they act and the way they fight. These are reasons why it is my favorite cartoon.

ReplyDeletemy favorite comic strip is Calvin and Hobbes. my favorite Calvin and Hobbes book is the lazy Sunday book. my favorite comic is Calvin ball when Calvin and Hobbes play it, its different every time they make it up as they go. But none the less it always ends up in a fight.
